About the V2 Video Technician Role
A V2 Video Technician supports the lead video engineer (V1) during live events. They handle cable runs, display setup, signal testing, and equipment staging. V2s are hands-on with the physical infrastructure that makes the video system work.
What You'll Do
- •Run and terminate video cables (SDI, HDMI, fiber)
- •Set up and calibrate displays, monitors, and projectors
- •Test signal paths and verify all video sources before show
- •Assist with LED wall builds and screen rigging
- •Manage video recording and backup systems
